Alberto Delgado de Ita is a documentary filmmaker. His work explores the interaction of opposing concepts and questions how negatively conceived ideas such as horror or bizarreness can sneak into the representational field of aesthetics, configuring a different kind of beauty. His documentaries have been shown in international film festivals like GIFF, DOCSDF, Short Shorts Film Festival Mexico, SFC at Cannes, and in art venues like Centro Cultural Estela de Luz (MX) and Museo Memoria y Tolerancia (MX). Currently he is developing an artistic research about the beauty in horror at the Netherlands Film Academy.
